This annual review celebrates how our
residents are making a difference at
AmicusHorizon.
We’re proud to lead an organisation that
puts its customers at the beating heart of
everything we do.
This year we carried out detailed
research alongside the Department for
Communities and Local Government
(DCLG) and Westminster University into
the impact of involving residents on our
business.
The report; Success, Satisfaction
and Scrutiny, finally provided proof
of what we’ve known for years – involving
our residents is the key to increasing
satisfaction AND delivering better value for
money.
The results speak for themselves. Over
the past 12 months we’ve met all our
performance targets and exceeded our
efficiency goals. In the areas residents say
matter most to them, we’re:
Top for overall resident satisfaction
Top for repairs satisfaction
Top for satisfaction with handling
anti social behaviour
Top for re let times
Top for satisfaction with dealing with
complaints.
Best of all, three of our residents picked
up prestigious individual awards for
their fabulous work in our communities
this year. We’d like to offer our personal
congratulations to:
M
onica Barnes, TPAS Tenant of the
Year 2014 & winner of the Housing
Heroes Resident Lifetime Contribution
Award 2014
Abba Ashmeade, TPAS Young Tenant
of the Year 2014
Janet Relf, TPAS Tenant of the Year
(Southern Region) 2015.
All three beat off strong competition from
across the country and it really is an
incredible achievement. Amazingly, Abba
was our third young tenant in a row to win
the young tenant award.
Clearly, working as ‘One Team’, alongside
our residents, is a recipe for success.
We’ve had a fantastic year but there’s
still a lot of hard work to be done before
we can reach our strategic aim to be the
best large landlord in the UK by 2016.
We’re confident we’ll get there with the
help of our amazing residents.
Together we’re stronger!
Our high level of resident involvement
was recognised with a number of external
awards and accreditations this year:
Our Resident Monitors were highly
commended at the Customer Scrutiny
Inspection Awards
We received a top accreditation
for placing residents at the heart of co
regulation – The Quality Assured
Scrutiny (QAS) accreditation.
