GRIZZLY
BEARS
RECOVERED
FEDERAL LAWSUIT
p
erhaps the greatest success story
in the history of the Endangered
Species Act, the Greater Yellowstone
Ecosystem population of grizzly bears
has surpassed every threshold set forth
for delisting. Yet, animal-rights activists
continue to challenge the idea via legal
channels, using activist judges and convoluted,
red-tape arguments to fulfill their agenda and
solicit donations for their coffers. We’re fighting
for science, wildlife management and the very
foundation of conservation in court.
Animal-rights organizations raise millions of
dollars every year in donations in the name of
predators, such as grizzly bears and wolves,
and instead of celebrating their recovery, the
anti-hunting movement prefers to keep them
listed for their own profit and at the expense
of the rest of the ecosystem. We’ll continue to
fight for balanced wildlife management.
