Section 167 if the Community Charter describes the financial reporting requirements for local governments.
Municipal financial statements for a fiscal year must be prepared by the Financial Officer and presented to Council
for its acceptance. The financial statements are to be submitted to the Inspector of Municipalities by May 15 th of
the year following the end of the fiscal year.
