Universal Water Metering
Measure
Universal water metering is the second priority within the Water All District water
Master Plan. Through 2015 and finishing in 2016, farms, homes and
customers metered
businesses in the District of Lake Country will be supplied with a
water meter. Meters measure water use, which is essential
information for making sound management decisions and
environmental stewardship.

Liquid Waste Management Plan Amendment Update
Measure
The District has been going through the process of updating and Complete LWMP
revising its LWMP to chart the course of future action with respect

to stormwater and other wastewaters, including the management,
collection, treatment and return of effluent to the environment. The
focus during 2016 will be to find a solution for effluent disposal.

Wastewater Operations/Management
Service delivery assessment of wastewater operations and
management will be undertaken to consider the cost/benefit of
internal vs contracted services and determine how to deliver the
service in the future.
