The Community Services Department is responsible for ensuring that the
community develops gracefully by providing all planning, policy, building
inspection, sustainability, economic development, subdivision, and
development approval services, including: official community plan
amendment, zoning amendment, soil removal, temporary use permits and
Agricultural Land Reserve applications. This team is also responsible for
Business Licensing and support for the Agricultural Advisory Committee. The
Department consists of a Director, Community Development Manager, two
Planners, one Development Services Technical Clerk, a Chief Building
Inspector, Plan Checker, a Development Services Clerk and a Building Clerk.
