The Connection provides opportunities for program owners and coaches to collaborate and contribute in ways that promote the success of All Star . In 2021 , the USASF and the Board of Directors announced the appointment of Becky Herrera as the interim chair of The Connection . Becky is the co-owner of CheerForce in California and has served as a Connection Leader since 2018 .

• 12 Connection Advisory Board members

• 48 Connection Leaders

• 36 Regional Team Leaders

In 2021 :

• Connection Leaders contributed to the development of new initiatives and continuing education for owners , coaches and athlete members .

• Connection Leaders participated in the Peer2Peer Mentoring Program to support 65 owners .

• Connection Leaders served on the USASF Disciplinary Committee to oversee 44 hearings .

• 22 Connection Leaders served on the DEIS sub group .

• 25 Connection Leaders contributed to the National Meeting to :

- collaborate with USASF on curriculum development for owners , coaches and athlete classes .

- serve as presenters and panelists .

- help facilitate regional assembly discussions and the owners ’ meeting .

- provide on-site mentoring for program owners .

- participate in the All Star Experience Expo to share USASF resources including FUNdamentals , Growth & Business Builders and enrichment programs .
