His Worship Magistrate Carl Quamina His Worship Magistrate Carl Quamina was called to the bar in 1993 and has since appeared before several courts at the Magisterial, High Court and the Court of Appeal level in both criminal and civil law matters. Mr. Quamina established his own Her Worship Magistrate Marissa Gomez Ms. Marissa Gomez joined the Magistracy after close to 12 years in the public sector, beginning as a Legal Officer 1 in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in 2001, where she served for four years before moving to the Ministry of National Security as a State Counsel III. Immediately before becoming a Magistrate, she was a Senior Legal Officer with the Ministry of Justice. Magistrate Gomez is a past Her Worship Magistrate Adia Mohammed Her Worship Magistrate Adia Mohammed joined the public sector almost immediately on having been called to the bar in 2002 following her graduation from the Hugh Wooding law School in 2002. She pursued her Legal Education Certificate at that institution after obtaining her LLB at the University of the West Indies two years law chambers in Sangre Grande and Mayaro, and also served as an Attorney on the Legal Aid panel “pro bono” when requested. His office has welcomed students from the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School on a yearly basis to complete their in-service training. Outside of his law pupil of the Newtown Girls’ RC School and St. Joseph’s Convent both in Port of Spain, and also a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Hugh Wooding Law School. before.
