UNIVERSITY BEST TALENT (UniBeTa):
IMPROVISATION OF SELECTION SYSTEM
Starting in 2011, two (2) years in a row, the students? from the Faculty of Law &
International Relations (FUHA) aren?t been selected by the university to be part of
the University Best Talent Group, also known as the University Ambassador. Thus,
seeing this problems, the FLAIRSOC committee lead by Mr. Muhammad Syauqi
Bin Nadri as the President FLAIRSOC, had come to further discuss such matter
with the Students? Representative Council FUHA.
Efforts had been taken to undergo a research methodology of receiving the
feedbacks of the students? regarding their perception towards the UniBeTa
organizations itself and whether the selection was made without doubt of
transparency. FLAIRSOC-MPP-ALSA had all come together to brainstorm the
flaws of the selection system to seek for rights? of respective members to be part of
the UniBETA.
Recommendations are given and highlighted to the Director, Students? Holistic
Development Centre and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student & Alumni Affairs)
Prof. Madya Dr. Nik Wan Bin Omar.
