Bluegrass Day Camp
Thirty-four youngsters enjoyed 3 days of pickin' and
grinnin' as they explored the rich traditions of Bluegrass
and Southern Appalachian culture. Camp culminated in
a performance on the tent stage. Camp was led by Tom
Draughon, and fellow Big Top performers Bruce Bowers,
Nori Perrine, Liesel Wilson, and Andy Noyes, as well as
volunteers Ron Nemec and Ocean Clevette.
Scholarships for the Bluegrass Day Camp were funded in part
by the Chequamegon Bay Area Community Fund, an affiliate
of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.
