The KEEPERS of Big Top Chautauqua and Grant Support

The

KEEPERS

of Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua
Here we are, looking back at the second year of The KEEPERS, a group of supporters who care greatly about the music, arts and culture that the Big Top provides. The KEEPERS supply financial resources that are held for future buildings and grounds purposes, thus ensuring a stable base of support for the exciting Big Top chapters ahead. Formed in 2015, we asked supporters to help tend the light for Big Top, the cultural jewel of the Northwoods. Many wonderful people have answered the call by contributing $ 1,000 or more, providing over $ 200,000 in support to date. This fun-loving group plans get-togethers centered around the Big Top, music, and the beauty of the area- this year bringing Michael Feinstein to the tent for a spellbinding world-class performance. They witnessed the birth of a new star in Texas songwriter John Fullbright, cruised the Apostle Islands, danced to the island sounds of Quito Rymer and the Edge and had an unforgettable tour of Sand Island – all to the benefit of Big Top Chautauqua. We are grateful to these wonderful friends and acknowledge the leadership of Don and Abby Funk, Mary Rice, Kim West Rymer, Kim Ogle and Jim Perry. Salute!
