Mark Miller Subaru is proud to support Continue Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of Veterans through recreational and educational programs. In July 2024, our South Towne location hosted the annual Subaru Ambassador Summer Heat Subie Meet fundraiser, bringing together Subaru enthusiasts and the local community in support of this incredible cause.
With a well-organized event featuring family-friendly games, local vendors, and a food truck, attendees came together to raise $ 700 through entry fees and raffle tickets. Mark Miller Subaru proudly matched the funds, bringing the total to $ 1,400, with additional contributions of $ 500 from WCF Insurance and $ 1,000 from Long An Market, one of the event’ s participating vendors.
CELEBRATING VETERANS DAY WITH CONTINUE MISSION
As a Subaru Love Promise Partner, Continue Mission provides no-cost activities for all-era Veterans and their support members, including hiking, pickleball, skiing, paddleboarding, and more. Mark Miller Subaru is honored to play a role in helping them continue their mission of healing, connection, and community support.
This Veterans Day, we at Mark Miller Subaru teamed up with Continue Mission, our Loves Veterans Love Promise Partner, to honor our local heroes by delivering 136 American flags to veterans in our community. Continue Mission, a Utah-based nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans readjust to civilian life, was the perfect partner for this initiative. Together, we set out to recognize and thank veterans for their service, sharing a token of appreciation in the form of these flags, each representing our commitment to the Subaru Love Promise. Continue Mission set out and visited each veteran with a flag, sparking heartfelt connections and stories. For many veterans and their families, these flags weren’ t just symbols— they were a reminder that their sacrifices are remembered and valued by the community. As someone with many people who have served our country, I know the importance that the American Flag holds. The conversations we shared brought home the depth of strength and resilience our veterans carry. At Mark Miller Subaru, we’ re committed to being more than a car dealership. Through initiatives like these, we aim to make a lasting impact, showing our veterans they’ re never forgotten. And that we appreciate the sacrifices they make to protect our freedoms. Partnering with organizations like Continue Mission allows us to give back in meaningful ways, fostering a sense of gratitude and support that reflects who we are at our core and our commitment as a B-Corp to making a difference. This Veterans Day initiative left us all inspired and grateful to have connected with those who served. We’ re proud to stand by our veterans and look forward to continuing these efforts to honor their courage.
