MAKE A DOGS DAY
During the Make A Dog’ s Day event, Mark Miller Subaru didn’ t just celebrate pets— we made a real impact. In partnership with Salt Lake County Animal Services, we proudly donated $ 8,000 to support their ongoing rescue and adoption efforts. But this event was about more than a check; it was about bringing pets and people together, creating moments of joy, and giving animals a second chance at love.
One of those moments happened when a couple arrived at the event with a mission: to adopt a specific puppy they had seen featured by Salt Lake County Animal Services. Their excitement was undeniable as they met their new furry family member, a pup named Winnie, that had been waiting for a forever home. That connection, made possible by the event, was a reminder of why we do this.
Beyond adoptions, we also helped keep pets safe. Salt Lake County Animal Services provided free microchipping for local pet owners, ensuring lost pets could find their way home. For those outside Salt Lake County, Mark Miller Subaru covered the cost, extending this lifesaving service to even more pets in the community. And, of course, what’ s a celebration without fun? The pet costume contest stole the show, with dogs dressed as everything from rockstars to hotdogs, delighting the crowd. Our furry attendees were spoiled with two cars full of free toys, ensuring every dog, adopted or not, left with something special. Make A Dog’ s Day is more than just an event— it’ s a movement to give every pet the love and care they deserve. Thanks to the support of our community, Mark Miller Subaru continues to be a champion for pets, proving once again that every tail wag, every adoption, and every act of kindness makes a difference and that every animal has a shot at finding loving homes and forever families.
