do good feel good
Mark Miller Subaru’ s Do Good Feel Good brings people together to support local nonprofits and drive positive change. This initiative raises awareness and provides a platform for organizations addressing critical community needs— including environmental conservation, animal welfare, education, and support for Veterans and underserved populations.
During our 2024 Do Good Feel Good event, we donated $ 75 per car sold, allowing customers to choose which of our Love Promise Partners their purchase would support. Thanks to the incredible participation from our community, we raised over $ 21,000 for local nonprofits. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with these organizations, learning how they can make an impact beyond donations.
Car wash for a cause
Mark Miller Subaru’ s commitment to giving back was on full display through Carwash for a Cause, a collaborative effort with Fit to Recover to support the recovery commu-nity and Salt Lake at large. Held at the dealership, the event brought together volunteers from both organiza-tions, all united by a shared passion for service. Armed with buckets, sponges, and plenty of enthusiasm, Mark Miller Subaru employees worked alongside Fit to Recover members to wash cars while forging meaningful connec-tions with participants.
The event was more than just a fundraiser— it was a celebration of resilience, support, and community. As cars rolled through, volunteers engaged with customers, sharing stories of hope and perseverance. Mark Miller Subaru team members weren’ t just hosts; they were active participants, working side by side with Fit to Recover members to ensure every car left shining. The dealership lot transformed into a place of laughter, encouragement, and unity, proving that service extends far beyond the wash buckets and hoses.
By the end of the day, 20 cars sparkled under the Utah sun, each one a testament to the power of people coming together for a cause greater than themselves. The event not only surpassed fundraising expectations but also reinforced the shared mission of Mark Miller Subaru and Fit to Recover: to build connections, support one another, and create lasting, positive change. As this partnership continues, Mark Miller Subaru remains dedicated to finding new ways to uplift and serve the community— one clean car at a time.
Thank you to everyone who participated— your generosity and engagement continue to strengthen our community!
MARK MILLER SUBARU SHAVES SASQUATCH
At Mark Miller Subaru, we strive to make a difference. This Pride Month, we partnered with Volunteers of Ameri-ca( VOA) Youth Resource Center to support LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. Our“ Mark Miller Subaru Shaves the Sasquatch” clothing drive, led by Product Specialist Brian Naylor, set a goal of 500 dona-tions— if reached, Brian would cut his long hair and trim his beard. Thanks to our incredible community, we more than doubled that goal, collecting over 1,000 items. The donations, matched in value by the state, made an even greater impact. Brian kept his promise, with Mike at God Shave the Queen generously providing his barbering services. This heartwarming campaign exemplified the Subaru Love Promise, showing the power of community and compassion.
