30-Credit Teaching Certificate
Armenia faces over 600 teaching vacancies each year, with critical subjects going unfilled in rural, mountainous, and border communities. In 2022, the government passed a landmark law creating a new pathway into the profession, and Teach For Armenia became the first nonprofit in the country to receive accreditation to deliver the 30-credit certification course.
Offered through our Teacher Leadership Academy, the course combines intensive training in pedagogy, Change-Based Learning, and classroom practice, including a hands-on Student Leadership Camp where participants teach alongside students before entering the classroom.
Upon completion, participants receive a government-recognized teaching certificate, qualifying them to serve in Armenia’ s highest-need schools.
The 30-credit course is available to all individuals who join our two-year program, opening a vital new door for graduates, career-changers, and diaspora Armenians to enter the teaching profession and help close the talent gap where it matters most. cre dit
