The exhibition“ Mother Goddess: from Anahit to Mary” was presented at the History Museum of Armenia, marking the first-ever display in Armenia of the Bronze Statue of Goddess Anahit. The artifact, previously housed at the British Museum, was exhibited in Armenia through a landmark agreement between the History Museum of Armenia and the British Museum.
Goddess Anahit is a central figure in Armenian history and mythology, symbolizing fertility, motherhood, and wisdom. The exhibition enabled local and international visitors to engage directly with a powerful symbol of Armenia’ s cultural identity and historical legacy.
