Elina Avanesyan, a young and promising professional tennis player, made history by becoming the first Armenian athlete to enter the Top 50 of the WTA women’ s global tennis rankings. Her achievement represents a significant milestone for Armenian sports and international representation.
With the support of the Keron Foundation and in cooperation with the Tennis Federation of Armenia, Elina successfully obtained citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, enabling her to officially represent Armenia in international tennis competitions.
Through this engagement, the Talent Pool Program extends beyond institutional placement to include individual excellence, recognizing the role of high-performing athletes in promoting Armenia internationally and inspiring future generations.
