From July 16-20, AGBU FOCUS 2025 marked a milestone moment with Armenia hosting the global summit for the first time. The five-day event drew 600 young professionals from 28 countries far and wide— from Argentina, Brazil, Canada and China to Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Japan, Lebanon, Spain, and the United States.
As part of the“ FOCUS on ART” event, the foundation’ s director, Vanane Ararktsyan, presented the Talent Pool Program, aimed at attracting the potential of highly qualified professionals to Armenia. Also on stage was Talent Pool Program participant Tatev Yeghiazaryan, who delivered a remarkable performance of Sayat-Nova’ s song“ Nazani.”
The event brought together representatives from the fields of culture, arts, education, and technology, as well as leaders of various organizations and young people initiating new projects. Participants were also treated to a small symbolic surprise— a warm reminder of the simple and sincere moments of childhood.
