Among all the “ Oficinas Acelera Pyme ” offices , upwards of 400 awareness-raising days were held and more than 12,000 consultations and advice sessions were conducted in order to accompany SMEs , self-employed workers and entrepreneurs on their path to digital transformation .
As the digital transformation advances , aspects related to cybersecurity are becoming increasingly important . For this reason , the Chamber of Spain is setting up the Cybersecurity programme , the goal of which is the secure and reliable use of cyberspace , protecting citizens ’ rights and freedoms and fostering socio-economic progress .
The programme also seeks the following : to involve workers , through awareness-raising plans ; to encourage companies to have a security plan as a source of generating trust in its customers ; and to drive the implementation of cybersecurity tools in companies ’ everyday work .
