Int-eComm, a new internationalisation support programme
In 2021, the Chamber of Commerce of Spain expanded its catalogue of programmes to support the internationalisation of SMEs. The programmes XPande and Xpande Digital were joined by Int-eComm, the core goal of which is to improve the internationalisation processes of small and medium-sized enterprises and its ability to operate in global digital environments by developing international e-commerce strategies and action plans that help them to boost its online sales in the target market selected by the company.
The programme is supported by ERDF funds and comprises two phases:
1. Consultancy phase
The company receives a consultancy service from the technical specialists of the Chambers of Commerce, based on its own methodology and featuring the support of the Knowledge Unit of the Chamber of Commerce of Spain, which determines the company ' s degree of digital maturity. An internal and external analysis of the company is conducted in relation to the determining elements for defining the company ' s e-Commerce strategy( products, customers, competition, USP and strategic decisions), analysing international electronic markets, selecting the target market, designing the e-commerce strategy and an action plan in the company ' s target foreign market. assesses their knowledge and experience, and provides the necessary training in the consultancy methodology.
The Chamber consultants also receive support from the International Knowledge Unit of the Chamber of Spain, which is responsible for preparing personalised competitive intelligence reports that serve as a basis for their consultancy work.
This phase is free of charge for the company.
