GREENinMED
The GREENinMED project, co-funded by the European ENI CBC MED Programme, seeks to foster collaboration between Mediterranean stakeholders and companies to strengthen innovation and efficiency levels in water and energy management by companies in the tourism sector.
In 2021, 10 SMEs linked to tourism activity in the Mediterranean were selected for the prize constituting an innovation bonus for each of them. This bonus offers advisory services and support to test or implement innovative solutions in the area of water and energy. Furthermore, the AIDIMME technology centre was awarded the contract to provide technological advice on water and energy to the selected SMEs. The results of the project notably include 40 % of the beneficiary companies having estimated energy savings of between 5 % and 10 %.
