Wishes Start With YOU
For children battling critical illnesses , the stress and trauma they experience can be overwhelming . Feelings of isolation , depression and fear are all too common to our wish families .
But in our chapter ’ s nearly 40-year history , we have known that the wish experience provides a wonderful respite from this anxiety . When you refer a child to Make-A-Wish , you can replace those feelings with hope , strength and joy .
If you know of a child , aged 2.5 to under 18 , who is diagnosed with a critical illness , or a life-threatening medical condition , they might qualify for a wish .
