TENDERLOIN CLEANUP
Mayor London Breed , with the consent of the Board of Supervisors , declared a State of Emergency , which allows the City to take expedited action to address problems in the Tenderloin , such as poverty , crime and safety . Public Works has been involved with the Tenderloin Emergency Initiative on two key fronts : providing increased street cleaning in the neighborhood and helping to get a new Linkage Center up and running to connect people in need with services .
