We built the first-ever Block School in the world using Block Solutions technology. In partnership with Block Solutions and Pelita Foundation, we built five permanent, environmentally sustainable, and earthquake-
resistant classrooms made from recycled plastic waste. Find out more here.
Despite the challenges brought on by COVID-19, we ended up having a record-breaking financial year. From July 2020 to June 2021, AUD 958,549 in donations came into Classroom of Hope from our loyal supporters, our highest fundraising year in COH history.
In May 2021 COH welcomed Brad Moreland to the team as our new Chief Operating Officer. In his new role, he is heading up operations to systemise and implement business process improvement. Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organisation. We are thrilled to have him on board. Welcome, Brad!
Alexis Guillot was one of our Board of Directors for nearly three years before transitioning this year to lead the board as our Chair. Alexis not only has extensive knowledge of COH from his time on the board, but he also brings his considerable experience and a broad range of well-honed capabilities to the role.
