Traditional Owners
For more than 15 years we have facilitated
a Traditional Owner Management Group
(TOMG) to help ensure traditional
ecological knowledge and land
management techniques – developed
during tens of thousands of years – are
incorporated into decision making and
on-ground works.
TOMG meetings are usually held twice
a year, and offer representatives from all
16 regional Traditional Owner groups an
opportunity to strategically address key
NRM issues on country.
