Highlights of the year
• Hosted the 3 rd National Executive Meeting in Pune in the month of Jan’19 aptly named Peshwai
• Hosted a first of its kind Joint Area Leadership Conclave named PRIDE for Areas 3, 11 and 15 in Feb’19
• Charter of 14 th table in the area- Pune Peshwai Round Table 337
• FTE- a proud moment indeed when 9 of the 13 tables were involved in a FTE project.
• After a long gap of 7 years the area hosted an Advance Train the Trainer seminar with participation from
across the country.
• Joint meetings in the presence of National President- A never before joint meeting in Pune of 9 tables
and in Solapur of 3 tables.
• Ground breaking fte ceremonies at 13 schools across Pune and Solapur.
• 56 classrooms allotted total outlay of Rs.4.5 crores.
• Fte inauguration of 7 schools in Pune and Solapur at an outlay of Rs. 1.81 crores
• Fund raising of over Rs.2.20 crores utilised for both FTE and non FTE projects.
• Over 70 community service and go green activities were organised.
• Almost every table did an activity for their twinklers with the total exceeding 35 events.
• Over 150 underprivileged kids experienced a movie in a multiplex for the first time. Robot 2.0 was
screened at the Cinepolis in Pune.
• Our Jaffa team was in full strength and entered the second round for the first time, narrowly missing the
finals.
• 2 nd AEX was organised at the beautiful Four Seasons winery in Bhigwan with a Wine tour thrown in for
some LAPD.
• Cricket Premier League, Human Foosball, Master chef and Poker were some of the 12 interesting and
entertaining inter table competitions over the year.
• Over 40 tabling couples connected and became friends through an initiative called- Fellowship basket.
• The area conducted over 30 LAPD events covering a wide range of topics.
• Tablers, ladies and twinklers enthusiastically participated in festivities of Ganesh Chathurthi, Diwali,
Christmas, Independence Day and much more.
• A first ever International outbound with tablers having an awesome trip to the city of Baku.
