OUR region relies on a thriving grazing industry, but market fluctuations and drought can impact profitability, even viability. We support graziers to meet these challenges by focusing on aspects of their business that they can control, such as soil health, water and stock management, and improving business knowledge.

Grazing BMP

Under the Grazing BMP( Best Management Practice) program, we support producers through a series of modules covering grazing land management, soil health, animal health and welfare, animal production, and people and business.

The program was developed in partnership between AgForce, the Fitzroy Basin Association and Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.

The Queensland Government funded the roll out across the Great Barrier Reef catchments.
