PROGRAM OF WORK INDUSTRY TOUR CULINARY CHALLENGE Mack Trucks was gracious to host our students for a tour of the Assembly Facility in Macungie. Students had an opportunity to interact with employees, and learn about the different jobs available at Mack. Tours like this help open students up to possibilities for employment outside of what they learn in their labs. The 9th Annual Culinary Challenge held in March of each year, was unfortunately canceled due to a late in the season snow storm that closed down several of our technical schools. We are grateful for the time our chefs spent with the students preparing for the event as well as our generous event sponsors and ticket holders that donated their contributions to SkillsUSA Council. WORKSHOPS The students from each school were very grateful to benefit from the time spent with our local chefs. The chef and student chef teams were: Workshops provided students with in-school opportunities to build their employability skills.
