A £6 billion plan to turn the Black Country into Britain’s biggest
‘garden city’ by building 45,000 homes was unveiled. Accord’s
Chief Executive Chris Handy represented the Black Country
LEP in the unveiling of the plan.
LoCaL Homes secured a £500,000 contract to manufacture a
four-home terrace of low carbon housing for Halton Housing
Trust in Runcorn. It is the first time in Halton’s history that
homes the will be built in-house using the Group’s property
services team instead of an external contractor.
