Our Kosair Charities Pediatric Convalescent Center is the only skilled nursing facility of its kind in the state , offering expert care to medically complex children and their families . Our Therapeutic Loving foster Care and Adoption program trains and supports foster parents and places children in supportive homes throughout the state . Many of the children in our residential programs come to us from outside Jefferson County . We provide community-based services in homes , schools and our offices throughout Southern Indiana and Jefferson County .
