Volunteers freely give their time to support the community and the people who need them. Volunteers are the people who step up and fill the gaps in the system – due to resource limitations, emergencies or otherwise. The volunteering sector is critical to civil society. Volunteering underpins the delivery of social and community services in our nation, and without volunteers many services (such as those funded by DSS) simply could not function. 13 14 15 16 17 18 Staff Recognition of Service Volunteer Commitment Finding the Right People People — Our Main Resource Caseworker Program 20 Information and Promotion 20 Marketing, Website, Social media 21 Information and Resources 21 Brochures, IT, Databases, Public Internet Access 22 Reaching our Community 22 Pets in the Park 23 Voices of Frankston 24 Perishable Food Programme 25 Spreading the Word 25 Tax Help 26 28 29 30 31 32 Working Together Frankston Community Appeal Acknowledgements — Community Appeal 2014 Volunteer Stories Supporters How You Can Help Extract from Volunteering Australia letter to the Hon.
