ScotlandAs1 - MakeItHappen Community Coaches By securing funding from Spalding and Sportsmatch, two clubs were selected for the deployment of one professional part time coach each. The aim was to help clubs develop sustainable participation around the club link with schools; around the Club’s geographical location and support clubs to develop a model of sustainable funding for such a position which can be replicated across numerous clubs. An application process open to all affiliated clubs was undertaken and basketballpaisley and West Lothian Wolves were chosen as models for this project, after a review of all submissions of delivery models. Some excellent work has been progressed because of this partnership and, with the support of basketballscotland, establishment of appropriate systems for employment and management of a professional coach commenced. This model was highly successful and it is hoped to be adopted by other clubs in the future, subject to funding. FUTURE CLUBZ Year 2. Stirling Knights .Friday Knights Leagues 2012/2013. .
