There seems to be an outpouring of compassion and volunteerism amongst the Yamhill County Dental Community that is unparalleled. It gives me great joy to network and form relationships with my colleagues in order to work together to support the mission of the Love INC Health Care Services. We promote health and alleviate pain and suffering in the name of Jesus Christ. I am so very proud of them! - Sue Lavier RDH, BS The Health Care Services Ministry provides free health care services for uninsured adults and children in our service area. This ministry uses local doctors, nurses, dentists, dental hygienists, and other health care professionals who voluntarily treat patients free of charge. This is made possible due to generous donations from businesses like A-dec and Providence Newberg Medical Center. DENTAL clinic goals • Two dental clinics a month • Six dentists commit to holding a clinic twice a year • Hold hygiene clinics once a month Long term goals (three to five years) • Dental clinic once a week • Twelve dentists commit to holding a clinic twice a year • Hold hygiene clinics twice a month Sue Lavier, Board Member/Dental Coordinator, and Lori Aus, EPDH Team Leader MEDICAL clinic goals • • Hold vision clinics four times a year. Reduce Emergency Room visits for non-emergencies. • Provide consistent counseling through the clinic once a quarter. • Have twelve primary care physicians or Nurse Practitioners donate one day a year. Long term goals (three to five years) • Have the Health Care clinic open twice a week. • Be open to all community members, not just Love INC clients Medical/Dental clinic
