Workforce Program Advisory Committee
The Workforce Program has corporate advisory committees for Culinary Arts, Information Technology,
and Healthcare Industries. These committees have been established to inform the curricula as it relates
to the needs and expectations of local employers. During the 2007-2008 academic year, the committees
met once each semester.

The following Board Members attended workshops and conferences this year:
• Mrs. Jane Garcia and Mr. Brahim Rawi attended the annual conference of the National
Council of La Raza in July 2008 in San Diego, California.
• Mrs. Laura Campos attended a training at the Public Charter School Board office,
“Governance Project Workshop: Evaluating the Head of School/Principal”.
