3. Problems Identified and Program Changes Undertaken as a Result of
Accountability Plan Data
The Carlos Rosario School Principal and academic management team are extremely pleased with
the data from School Year 2006-2007. Initiatives such as differentiation of the GED program
and special professional development for literacy program faculty have resulted in marked gains
in student performance in these programs.
Out of 17 academic objectives, 14 were met or
exceeded. The three academic objectives that fell under the 2006-2007 year’s targets were under
by only one to two percentage points. The Carlos Rosario School is well on its way towards
meeting or exceeding its objectives for Year Five of the 2004-2008 Accountability Plan!
