The administration further ensures school satisfaction by conducting anonymous annual surveys
to students, faculty, and staff. Based on those surveys, 86% of teachers, students, and staff
expressed satisfaction with offering input in decision making processes.
Objective III.2: The school is a caring community of support for its students and staff.
In accordance with the school’s accountability plan, the school collected survey data regarding
student satisfaction. Ninety-one percent (91%) of students reported that the school is a caring
community of support, and enrollment was no less than 100% of the approved enrollment level.
Student satisfaction was polled using several methods including the election of Student
Government Association (SGA) representatives in each class, who then met regularly with
administrative leadership; attended school-wide assemblies; and participating in student surveys
evaluating satisfaction with their instructors. Please see Appendix E for the complete results of
the Student Survey. 7 and 8
Like the student satisfaction survey, the faculty satisfaction survey yielded positive results
regarding the school’s curriculum, instruction, and overall climate. With regard to the school’s
curriculum and instruction, 91% of faculty indicated they agreed that the school demonstrates a
priority in curriculum effectiveness and student progress. More than 93% of faculty indicated
that they have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, pointing to a solid
understanding of their critical role in the school. With regard to school climate, 90% of the
faculty reported that teachers and staff are respectful and cooperative, capturing the school’s
supportive atmosphere. Survey data affirm the school’s decision-making processes and its
involvement with all stakeholders: Eighty-six (86%) of student, faculty, and staff agreed that
they have opportunities to discuss varied issues at the school affecting decision-making
processes.
Similarly, the staff satisfaction survey results point to an encouraging school climate. Eightythree percent (83%) of staff agreed that the school’s atmosphere is one of teamwork and support
among staff and teachers. Staff survey results also show a compelling understanding of the
school’s mission and a strong belief that their contributions are important to the school’s
actualization of its mission: Ninety-four percent (94%) of staff agreed with the statement. Please
see Appendix F for the complete results of the Faculty/Staff Satisfaction Survey.
