Social : Trail concept plan promotes physical activity , health & cultural activities . Stacked loop system ensures maximum usage as well as access to safe & accessible trails .
Economic : Concept built upon established trail . Will promote the local economy with tourism related economic opportunities .
Environmental : The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is dedicated to ensuring sustainable and environmental conservation / protection is a priority . Traditional knowledge will be used guide the design .

Impacts :
Social : Increased traffic on trails – connection with nature , people , community .
Economic : Increased traffic to local businesses . Increased staff hiring , longer store hours . Increased parking toll revenue .
Environmental : Degraded trail tread due to high foot traffic . Increased traffic in winter led to degraded groomed ski trails .
