Environmental : The Brokenhead Ojibway Nation is dedicated to ensuring sustainable and environmental conservation / protection is a priority . Traditional knowledge will be used guide the design .

Economic : Increased traffic to local businesses . Increased staff hiring , longer store hours . Increased parking toll revenue .
Environmental : Degraded trail tread due to high foot traffic . Increased traffic in winter led to degraded groomed ski trails .
