Our unique environment contributes to meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for the future and as a result , we are committed to the ongoing development of our facilities and spaces .
We owe thanks to the philanthropy of Charles Harper who established Guildford Grammar School in 1896 and to Cecil Oliverson who , in 1909 , financed our magnificent Chapel of St Mary and St George . Since then , many have contributed generously to our School and have enabled facilities to be updated , refurbished and constructed to create a positive , welcoming and innovative learning atmosphere that supports our students to flourish and succeed .
