Analysis of environmental impacts, dependencies and risks

CLIMATE CHANGE
Our activities generate greenhouse gas emissions throughout the value chain of our products. Analysis of the company ' s successive carbon footprint assessments allows us to clearly prioritise the main climate issues according to the size of each emission source.
Our main climate impacts are therefore linked, in order of importance, to:

1 2 3

Purchases of raw materials and packaging items, which are the leading source of greenhouse gas emissions, due to the associated production processes and the nature of the materials used
Logistics operations, including upstream and downstream freight, required for supply, distribution and export of products
Travel, mainly business travel, linked to the sales organisation and the company ' s day-to-day operations.
Production operations and site energy consumption also contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, but to a more limited extent than the upstream items linked to purchasing and logistics.
Climate change is therefore a cross-cutting issue for us, closely linked to the structure of our value chain and to our choices in sourcing, product design and logistics organisation. This analysis allows us to direct emission control and reduction efforts first and foremost towards the levers with the greatest climate impact.
