Poet: Kimberly Harrison
Woman of the NIght
By night a moonlit maiden
Weaving her web under moon-mottled sky
Swimming in the milky white
Of Diana’s lustrous lunar light
Incandescent on Cimmerian sand
And La Mer’s cloth in her trembling hand
She tempts the tide with only her look
And guides the starlight
That few men partook
She, glowing soft behind heavy hung cloud
Moves as a shadow in mystery shroud
Sibylline Dream
i dreamt a flower
before my feet
pale white it blossomed
delicately
i dreamt on oak tree
mossy and free
its cool leaves shimmied
delicately
i dreamt the ocean
the briny sea
it glistened dark and
delicately
i dreamt i was them
these miracles three
flower and ocean
and mossy tree
and as i dreamt them
so they dreamt me
we dreamt one another
delicately
