www.worldanimeclub.com berserk Manga Plus By Abhimanyu Shekhar Art: 9/10 The art is in an evolving art-style. Action sequences are well drawn and are easy to follow. Miura has really done a great job in the art. Large demonic creatures cut in pieces by the mighty blows of Guts’ sword, which is almost twice his size. A long-running manga primarily focused on war and deaths looks ugly, and Berserk is no exception. When a demon or human is cut in half, probably on its/his/her unlucky day, you’ll see the upper half of the body in air, with pieces of intestines sticking out. Yuck, right? Complicated drawings and a thick atmosphere looms everywhere throughout the manga. The character design is also great, or at least, solid, but then see when it all was drawn, like in 1990 or something! Today, we don’t come across such art-styles that much anymore.
