www.worldanimeclub.com Road to NinJa Naruto the Movie By Abhimanyu Shekhar Details Naruto the Movie - Road to Ninja is the sixth film of Naruto Shipuuden (ninth overall Naruto film) released in late July of 2012. Set in an alternate timeline, where Naruto’s parents are alive (on the cost of Sakura’s parents), all the characters have the opposite personalities like Hinata and Sasuke are offensive and playboy-type respectively. This 110-minute film is the highest earning Naruto film. For the year 2012, the movie made ¥ 1.48 billion and ranked 29th among Japanese movies in Box office including live action movies. It is the sequel to Naruto Shipuuden: Blood Prison. Except for France, this film has only been released in Asian countries: Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Philippines, and Thailand. The story is, as all Naruto stories are, by Masashi Kishimoto, so the expectations were high. It had to be more than just interesting. The story is interesting enough, as we get to see a quite twisted world: Sakura’s parents have defended Konoha from the Nine-Tailed demon fox while Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki are alive. A Sequel Potential In the story, Tobi also erases Naruto’s memories by sharingan but it’s later restored by the Red Moon scroll. At last, Naruto defeats Tobi and eventually stops him from achieving his goal. The goal wasn’t specified but this Genjutsu was merely an experiment for a greater aim. Naruto leaves that world after bidding farewell to his parents. In all, this film comprises of the potential to create a significant sequel concerning the “Greater Aim.” Other &V
