Meet
Dr. Trevor
Zachariah
He oversees the Zoo’s department
of veterinary programs, which includes
the Harris Animal Care Center, Sea Turtle
Healing Center and the animal commissary.
A graduate of the Michigan State University
College of Veterinary Medicine, he came to
us in 2010 following a three-year residency
at Brookfield Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo and
the Shedd Aquarium through University
of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Plus, he’s authored five papers
focusing on invertebrate medicine.
