Some excellent catches of Kabeljou have taken place over the last week . Canopy Doep se Gat and Horing Bay have all had lots of big Kabeljou early in the morning with
REPORT smaller fish biting throughout the day . Some large Kabeljou caught from the deep rocks at Baklei Gat but that is a mark for a few exceptional swimmers only . Smaller Kabeljou once again through the region although they are sporadic .
Shad are fairly thick through Mile 17 but are a little on the smaller size .
Nothing of note on the Steenbras front but with the sea being very calm , Mile 72 ( at toilet number 3 from the south end and the fence to the north of the bay ), Canopy and the northern Black Rock could well produce .
Bronze Whalers can be found at Mile 11 , Mile 17 , Mile 26 , Popeye , Mile 72 and Mile 100 as well as just about any other mark .
