However , the part we do not always see is the emptiness and sadness behind many seemingly happy images . This is because true satisfaction and fulfillment do not come from the world and the things in it but from being at the center of God ’ s will . Contentment is much more than a feeling or an emotion . It is a deep satisfaction beyond earthly possessions and ideal circumstances . It is knowing and trusting in the promises of God , no matter the situation .
