PHOENIX MUSIC SPOTLIGHT Singer/Songwriter/Drummer Age: 18 City: Litchfield Park, AZ Photo by Gerrod Anthony I Angelic Editor arrived early to the coffee shop. Sitting at a table nearest to the entry way, alongside the front windows I could feel the afternoon heat of summer in Arizona hoping to crawl inside. It was a full house and the chatter of voices, their small talk and my eaves dropping kept me occupied while I waited for him to walk through the doors. To the table directly next to me, a group of four girls, they were highschool age and had a look of pop-culture written on them. One asked, "what did He say in John?" Another replied, "Well, do you remember what He said in Luke?" My eaves dropping turned into a focus. I looked closely and saw their Bibles open and placed in front them. I realized in the midst of the distractions from the coffee house crowd, the voices and the heat tugging at me, the table next to me was having a conversation about Jesus. A few moments later, he arrived and our interview began. As we talked about his music and his faith in God, alongside of us a Bible study was taking place and the word of God was alive.
