FIL-AUSSIE workers are taking a more
active part in the workers’ union at the
highest levels. Dedicated, honest, and
hardworking, they are going beyond the
confines of their job to face the challenge
of taking leadership roles to fight for
workers’ rights.
Two Pinoy postal workers are on the campaign trail
for an upcoming state workers’ union elections.
Mario Royeca, current vice president of the union
national division and active member of the Migrante
NSW, is standing for the position of secretary of the NSW/
ACT State Branch of the Communications, Electrical, and
Plumbing Union (CEPU).
A fellow Pinoy, Rafael Montes, is running as Branch
Organiser.
