Students must have a literacy level equal to Year 12 here in Australia to qualify to study here at AAMS,” he said. Diploma in Disability student Richard Virginiza arrived Australia in 2009 on student visa and eventually received a sponsorship permanent position offer from Canberra with the Department of Aging and Disability Diploma in Disability is two year with fee of $19,900. Students will have to do Certi?cate III in Disability ?rst before joining Diploma in Disability which is one year and cost is $7450. Five units which are part of Certi?cate III in Disability are prerequisite to Diploma in Disability. Therefore total duration of Disability course is three years and fee will be $27,350/($19,900+$7450). With the launch of Disability Care Australia (National Disability Insurance Scheme) there are plenty of jobs for Disability Care Work and AAMS is only CRICOS Registered RTO delivering Diploma in Disability to international students. There is also a credit for Nursing/ Aged Care/ Community Services quali?cation if a student has done Aged Care/ Nursing/Community Services quali?cation or have a relevant experience thus eligible to join Diploma in Disability by doing 5 pre requisite only which are part of Cert III Disability in 12-15 weeks and will only pay $3000/- for 5 pre-requisite subjects from Cert III in Disability.
