To understand how wars
are being waged in this day and age
UNRESTRICTED WARFARE is a
book written by two People’s
Liberation Army officers Colonel
Qiao Liang and Colonel Wang
Xiangsui in 1999.

Here are some of the forms of warfare that the two
Colonels highlighted which can be used in combination or
sets of packages in “Unrestricted Warfare”.
The key is this is a military operation other than total war
and the objective is to bend the will of the enemy without
really having to fight a conventional war.
FINANCIAL WARFARE – means entering and subverting
banking and stock markets and manipulating the value of a
target currency.
SMUGGLING WARFARE – sabotaging a rival country’s
economy by flooding its markets with illegal goods and
flooding the market with pirated products.
CULTURAL WARFARE – influencing the cultural biases
of a targeted country by imposing your own cultural
viewpoints.

FEAR, from page 09
Anger is a powerful tool. Emotions are
part of who we are. Being angry serves
a purpose. Every time we feel anger, our
emotions are sounding big alarm bells. It is
telling us many things. It must be listened
to.
Author of the book The Artist’s Way, Julia
Cameron, explains why anger can make us
powerful. She writes: “a) Anger tells us we
are being violated; b) Anger tells us that we
should do something; c) Anger reminds us
that our boundaries have been trespassed;
d) Anger tells us we can’t continue to live the
way we have been living.”
Anger is an antidote to fear. Susan
Jeffers wrote a bestseller years ago and the

I was fearful. But I did nor run away and
instead confronted them. I asked them to
hit me right that moment if the plan was to

foreign media, either by compromising or intimidating
journalist or getting access to another country’s airwaves
and imposing your own national perspective.
TECHNOLOGICAL WARFARE – gaining control or having
an edge in particular vital technologies that can be used in
both peace and wartime.
PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE – imposing one’s national
interest by dominating a rival nation’s perception of its own
strength and weakness.
ENVIRONMENTAL WARFARE – weakening or
subjugating a rival nation by despoiling or altering its
natural environment.
ECONOMIC AID WARFARE – controlling a targeted
country through aid dependency.
RESOURCE WARFARE – gaining control of scarce natural
resources and being able to control or manipulate their
access and market value.
NETWORK WARFARE – dominating or subverting
transnational system
We are now seeing these forms of warfare being used
by China in the world stage. We are now feeling the effect of
this “Unrestricted Warfare” which is now a doctrine used by
China.
The two authors of the book did warn us that “When
people begin to lean towards and rejoice in the reduced use
of military force to resolve conflicts, war will b
