The meeting chaired by Governor Jesus Crispin Remulla which was attended by Philippine National Police (PNP) officials of the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon that aimed to review and update the progress and development of the different programs implemented on peace and order in their respective provinces. Carranza gave a presentation on the Peace and Order situation in the region highlighting the significant decrease in Total Crime Volume by 6.15% in 2018, both of Index and Non- Index crimes. Carranza said “We can safely say that we successfully sustained the reduction of crimes” attributing it to the relentless consistent conduct of PRO4A’s Plans and Programs; Best Practices; and Strategic Crime Interventions. A 23.90% reduction on crimes based on the comparative distribution of eight focus crimes (theft, physical injury, robbery, murder, rape, carnap mc, homicide and carnap mv) for the period January 1 to August 31, 2018 as against the same period last year which is basically attributed to the sustained efforts of all the provincial offices.
