DOH Awareness campaign to better equip parents with right information

TRECE MARTIRES, CAVITE-- The Bacoor City Health Office recently shared the Department of Health’ s( DOH) reminders regarding proper information about the importance of immunization vaccines and symptoms of the dreaded disease – Dengue.
With prevailing issues about dengue remaining of topmost concern for every parent, DOH released public information reminders to better arm the parents with the correct knowledge and information to be able to safeguard their children’ s health.
DOH reiterated that it is safe to avail of the common immunization vaccines that have been successfully used like the Oral Polio vaccine and the Tetanus Diphtheria Toxoid vaccine.

In its persistence to motivate and produce active and healthy employees, the provincial government of Cavite, thru the OPG-Extension and the Provincial Health Office conducted free medical services to the members of different councils in the province during the celebration of the Multi-Sectoral Assembly held at the Provincial Gymnasium in Trece Martires City on January 23, 2017. Members of numerous councils in the provincial government received free medical consultation and check-ups rendered by the doctors from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital. The employees expressed their gratitude to the governor for giving priority healthcare services to government workforces which inspired and motivated them to work diligently in their respective organizations.

Trece Martires, Cavite-- The municipality of Kawit and Meralco recently forged an agreement for a strategic partnership that would definitely benefit the townsfolks of Kawit with steady and reliable supply of electricity and expansion of the town’ s development efforts.
Parties to the agreement were Kawit Mayor Angelo Emilio G. Aguinaldo and MERALCO Vice President and Head of Home and Micro Business in South Business Area, Mr. Ferdinand O. Geluz.
The memorandum covers mutual cooperation in the municipality’ s projects such as the Community Electrification Program; Disaster Awareness and Risk Reduction Program; Educational during the time that the President is outside the Republic of the Philippines from 24 January 2018 to 27 January 2018,” his Special Order No. 64 reads.

DBP to install more ATMs nationwide

MANILA-- The Development Bank of the Philippines( DBP) is set to install more automated teller machines( ATMs) in key areas nationwide in support of the government’ s thrust of promoting financial inclusivity in underserved communities across the country.
DBP president and chief executive officer Cecilia C. Borromeo said the bank now has 637 ATMs in different parts of the country, with a growing number located in unbanked and underserved areas.
“ We’ ve steadily expanded our ATM network. From 428 ATMs in 2015, we expanded our network to 535 in
2016 and now, 637 as of the end of 2017,” Borromeo said. Borromeo added that they intend to install more ATMs and establish branches especially in the countryside, to serve more under-banked and unbanked Filipinos.
DBP recently installed two ATMs in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur, a fifth-class city. Bayugan is also the only city in the province and has close to 100,000 residents based on the latest data from the Philippine Statistics Authority( PSA).
Likewise, DBP opened an ATM at the municipal building of Marcos town in Ilocos Norte. A fourth-class municipality, Marcos has a population of more than 17,000 as of 2015 data from PSA.
